3) Hosting & Content-Delivery-Network
For hosting our website and displaying the page content, we use a provider who offers its services either directly or through selected subcontractors exclusively on servers within the European Union.
All data collected on our website is processed on these servers. We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our site visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
4) Cookies
To make the visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain features, we use cookies, which are small text files stored on your device. 8.3 Use of Payment Service Providers
Amazon Pay
This website offers one or more online payment methods from the following provider: Amazon Payments Europe s.c.a., 38 avenue J.F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg.
When you choose a payment method provided by the supplier, where you pay in advance (e.g., credit card payment), the payment data you provide during the order process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency, and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be forwarded to Amazon in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) DSGVO. The data is shared exclusively for the purpose of processing the payment with the provider, and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
Apple Pay
If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, the payment will be processed through the "Apple Pay" function of your iOS, watchOS, or macOS device by charging a payment card registered with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you will need to enter a code you have previously set, and verify via the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" feature of your device.
For payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, along with information about your order, will be forwarded to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before transmitting the data to the payment service provider of the payment card registered with Apple Pay. This encryption ensures that only the website from which the purchase was made can access the payment data. Once the payment is completed, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific dynamic security code back to the originating website to confirm the payment success.
If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out solely for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) DSGVO.
Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization ensures that no personal reference can be made. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings by going to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disabling "Allow Payments on Mac".
For further privacy information regarding Apple Pay, please visit the following website: Apple Privacy Information.
Google Pay
If you choose the payment method "Google Pay" from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), the payment will be processed through the "Google Pay" app on your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function, by charging a payment card registered with Google Pay or a verified payment system (e.g., PayPal). To authorize a payment of more than €25 via Google Pay, unlocking your mobile device with the verification method set up (e.g., facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern) is required.
For payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, along with information about your order, will be forwarded to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a unique transaction number to the originating website, verifying the completed payment. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of your stored payment methods in Google Pay; instead, it is generated and transmitted as a one-time valid numerical token. In all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts only as an intermediary to process the payment. The transaction is conducted solely between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored with Google Pay.
If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out solely for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) DSGVO.
Google reserves the right to collect, store, and analyze specific transaction-related information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time, amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, photos attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer, and any associated offers.
According to Google, this processing occurs exclusively in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO, based on the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data, and the optimization and maintenance of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.
You can find the Google Pay terms and conditions here:

10.2 Cookie-Consent-Tool
This website uses a so-called "Cookie-Consent-Tool" to obtain valid user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications requiring consent.
